The three star Glenburn Lodge offers a total 100 bedrooms made up of two and three bedroom chalets, Garden Suites, standard hotel rooms, twin rooms and hotel suites overlooking indigenous bush and tranquil water features. All rooms either have a view of the ZwartkopsMountains or the river frontage.

While the hotel rooms and family rooms offer space and comfort, the Garden Suites are elegant with fresh contemporary Afro-centric décor. Each with its own private patio, the garden suites overlook the lush river frontage. The latest addition to the Glenburn offering is Bushwillow Tented Camp, providing a fun-filled African safari experience for guests. Ideally situated on the Blaauwbank River, this venue accommodates from twenty to sixty guests in self-catering tented accommodation at a very competitive rate. A boma and heated pool ads to the leisure aspects of the venue while rugby and hockey facilities as well as a large sport field makes this the perfect venue for teambuilding activities.

The Coachman, the Boardroom, Greenwell's Glory, Guineaufowl, Mallard, Marabou, Minnow, Muddler, Pheasants Tail, Royal Clansman and Williams Favourite provide conference facilities for groups between six and 150. Conference venue names were either inspired by Glenburn Lodge's fly fishing tradition and fly names, or the Scottish names reflecting the beautiful natural surrounds. 

A range of conference packages are available to suit your specific needs and budget. Delegates can expect sumptuous tea and coffee break snacks and a wide selection of coffee and tea options. In winter time Glenburn Lodge also serve soups and hot chocolates during breaks. The aroma of popcorn in the conference all day long has been a favourite with conference-goers for many years. Standard conference equipment is included in the conference packages while we can make arrangements for any special requirements the company may have.

Wild Cave Adventures

Shades of Ngwenya
Watch skilled glassblowers and candle makers apply their craft  just a few minutes from Glenburn Lodge.

Sterkfontein Caves
This cave was home to the most complete skull known as Mrs. Ples found in 1947.  500 fossil specimens of both adults and children have been discovered

Family and friends can relax in the Conservatory, Gallery or Piazza where the afternoon is spent   listening to the soothing sounds of our live performer.  Private dining for special occasions or Executives can be arranged in the Wine Cellar.

Lairds Bar and the adjacent pool room provides either pre- or post dinner relaxation.  The drop down screen is ideal for sport enthusiasts wanting to stay up to date with the latest score. 
  
Sharing a private game reserve with the adjacent Kloofzicht Lodge, Glenburn Lodge has hiking routes for those who merely want a relaxing stroll, or fitness enthusiasts who are ready for conquering the Zwartkop Mountain. Bird watching and fishing are welcome past times within the beautiful natural surroundings.

Weddings

Voted as one of the top wedding venues in Gauteng, Glenburn Lodge has three wedding venues with guest capacities ranging between 60 and 250 guests.

Glenkyle overlooks a spectacular waterfall, and is situated on the Blaauwbank River, while Glencove is nestled on the Crocodile River in a beautiful country garden setting. Glenwillow is situated at the foot of the majestic Zwartkops Mountain in the Bush Willow Tented Camp.

Our banqueting team and dedicated wedding co-ordinators are available to work closely with you to ensure that all arrangements are in accordance with your wishes. The conference centre includes fourteen venues: Glenkyle, Glencove and Glenwillow feature banqueting as well as conference facilities. The largest venue , Glenkyle, can take up to 300 delegates at a time.

Teambuilding:
Excellent teambuilding facilities are available on the banks of the river and at Bush Willow Tented Camp. The Tower of Empowerment teambuilding area provides the perfect venue for physical teambuilding.
