Nestled below the highest point of the ancient Magliesberg Mountain Range in the heart of the Magalies River Valley, Ingwe Bush Camp is situated on the privately owned Nooitgedacht Game Ranch, only 1½ hours drive from Johannesburg International Airport. The 2000-hectare reserve comprises of classic African bushveld ranging from savanna grasslands to riverine forests, and high mountain flora and woodlands. This diverse habitat supports a large variety of game, boasting more than 20 different species including giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland, gemsbok, kudu, impala, leopard and hyena. Personally, and professionally, managed by Cliff Sanders, the Outfit benefits greatly from the knowledge and skills that he has derived from more than 20 years of hunting in Africa. Whether you are an experienced hunter, or novice, he will ensure that you experience adventure in the true African style. Ingwe Bush Camp Safaris offers rifle, bow, handgun and black powder hunting, and also makes Wing shooting available. The authentic safari style tented camp is well sited amongst the trees of the riverine forest, with comfortable, well appointed tents with en-suite bathrooms and private verandahs offering repose and tranquility to reflect on the days hunt. The luxury tented Ingwe Bush Camp nestles in the tranquillity of a riverine forest under the highest peak of the Magaliesberg. The fully furnished carpeted tents can accommodate up to 4 guests per tent, with on suite bathroom and equipped kitchen facilities and veranda self-catering in Hekpoort.

Game drives in open safari vehicles allow for excellent game viewing. The more than 20 different species of game include giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland, gemsbok, kudu, impala, leopard, hyena and many more.

A variety of savanna grassland, riverine forest, high mountain and woodland make for a scenic hiking experience up to the highest point of the Magalies mountain range with a magnificent view of the Magalies river valley and Buffelspoort. From easy strolls to experienced hiking in the unspoiled nature area.

More than 200 species of trees and shrubs provide for over 200 different species of birds. Black Eagles, Tawny Eagles, Fish Eagles, Marshall Eagle, Secretary Birds, Hornbills, Red billed Wood Hoopoe-hoe's to name a few. The vulture restaurant feeds over 400 Cape Griffin, Lappet Faced and White Back Vultures.

For the mountain bike enthusiast the game drive route varies from easy riding to challenging trials.

  The quiet and peaceful surroundings provide the ideal environment for team building, corporate functions and a unique conference experience.

The conference building consists of a main hall, a breakout room, boma, full kitchen facilities and bathroom facilities.

The main hall can seat the following:
Schoolroom style: 30 people
Cinema style: 40 people
Boardroom style: 20 people 

Accommodation Facilities 

The luxury tented Ingwe Bush Camp nestles in the tranquillity of a riverine forest under the highest peak of the Magaliesberg. The fully furnished, carpeted tents can accommodate a maximum of 24 guests in African luxury, with up to four guests per tent in an elegance of accommodation reminiscent of the by-gone days of African hunting. Each tent comes fully equipped with an on suite bathroom. Relax, and revel in the nostalgia that any hunter must feel as he sleeps under canvas stretched tautly beneath the limitless skies of Africa.


Catering Facilities 

For those who prefer to do nothing but hunt, Ingwe offers a fully staffed kitchen with a dedicated chef whose pleasure it is to provide your palate with delights that will please even the most jaded. The menu focuses on traditional style meals, and caters for not only breakfast, lunch and dinner, but will provide you with snacks and picnic meals should you want them. We also cater for vegetarians if required, and our full bar is open to our guests at no extra cost.
