It was named by the first owner of this stately property, a former mayor of Pretoria, because the original old English styled mansion was built against the Riviera Hill, which overlooks Pretoria. The hill is still a protected nature reserve.

DirectionsTake R21 highway, follow highway to Pretoria, go around circle (water fountain) you will see Sunnyside off-road. Follow that. Unisa University on your right handside. Go straight on and Mear Str becomes Jeppe, Jeppe becomes Beatrix Str. Go straight on in Beatrix till Pretoria Academic Hospital on your left handside. Dr Savage Road, turn right into Annie Botha Ave. Pass Union Str, then left into Viljoen Str. Guesthouse at the end of the street. |
